Nestled in the valley of the Topatopa Mountains, northwest of Los Angeles, Ojai is a darling little town to escape to this spring. With a little something for everyone, the decidedly luxe and sweeping property of Ojai Valley Inn is a family favorite and continues to charm us with every visit.
A family wedding brought us to the coasts of sunny Melbourne, Australia. With a week to explore the rugged south coast, we drove the Great Ocean Road, raced around the famous Grand Prix Circuit on Phillip Island and explored hot spots of Melbourne’s food scene.
A few savvy friends shared their recommendations with me ahead of this summer trip. Our favorite dinner had to be at Sitka & Spruce, where we dined on squid ink potatoes, fresh-caught wild king salmon, and deconstructed Eton mess. Don’t miss Bainbridge Island!
